Sabiduría Montuna is acknowledging that we are part of a community that has for generations learned the ways to heal and support each other
And this wisdom happens in our Centro Comunitario (Community Center).
We have been training, fundraising, and organizing Health Mentors classes around isolated rural communities in P.R. and the Caribbean region with our yearly fundraisers and initiatives. One of them is being an honorific member of the Centro Comunitario Quebrada Arenas III. This Community Center is in San Lorenzo, P.R. in the same community mountains that saw us grow.
100% of the money collected through our services helps us fund education projects in our Centro Comunitario that aim to preserve and multiply our innate cultural individual and community ancestral healing practices through agriculture and food justice projects, our traditional Comadreo (companionship), and Santigüadoras (sanctifying healers), among many other workshops the community identifies needs.
