An Upgrade

There is nothing as pleasant as receiving a text from this client I clean her house sometimes, 2 hours before you head their way, saying:

“Jackie, I think you were so right about our bath tub. I tried with Clorox and just got an allergic reaction. I think I’m going ahead with your recommendation and I’ll change the caulk. Can you do this?”

It is pleasant because 1st, I’m not sure if you read correctly, but she wrote: “You were SO right!”

Hell yeah I was right!

Secondly, because I get to stop at the Hardware Store which is one of my favorites spots since 4 years old. I would accompany my Dad in Puerto Rico to the Massó ones and he would give me some tubes to play with while he’d try to find his materials. Tubes are so much fun!

Third, because this means I’d get to stop cleaning the freakin’ dishes and get to real-game play with tiles and caulk, get dirty and feel finally really feminine ;)

And lastly, because I can almost hear my Dad whispering on my ear: “I taught you well, don’t mess this one Beba”

“No I won’t Papi”. And I didn’t.

She referred me to her neighbor who needs to change her small kitchen backsplash.

They are finally taking me seriously. About time!
